Ms. Kitty and the teachers in school hosted a National Week for all of us:
18 Aug 2009 - Land of Malaysia (History and Geography)
19 Aug 2009 - Malay Culture
20 Aug 2009 - Indian Culture
21 Aug 2009 - Chinese Culture & Party Day
Teacher came dressed in ethnic traditional wear ... one day, we had local food for us to try out ... another day it was traditional items on display ... and another day we had Malaysian flag together with the state flags. It was all about Malaysia, my pride and country !
p/s I associated the word "Merdeka" every time I see a Malaysian flag :)
This year Malaysia celebrates its 52nd National Day on 31 August 2009. Selamat Hari Merdeka !
